The 19-year-old sniper started off the month of December by tallying 6 points in the Isles’ first 4 games, including back-to-back, two-goal efforts on December 8 and 9. Tavares has been particularly lethal on the power play, bagging 8 of his first 15 markers with the man-advantage – the league’s third-best total through mid-December.
