these redemptions were in 08 products, and we have been waiting a long time for these.  contacted ud 3 weeks ago and i was told they would be shipping soon?  any idea when they will be shipped?  also received an email from ud about a bonus card for the wait?  any idea what that will be and what thery will be #'d too???  any help appreciated.

Just bumping this thread up because I too have been waiting on this redemption (for over a year now).

Sorry to come across rude but it's mind boggling how a non-autographed, non-game-used card can take over a year to be produced.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I apologize for the delay, but Upper Deck is going to try to send out all the 2008 Icons redemptions this month. I have confirmed that they should be available soon (sorry I don't have an exact date) for shipping. I hope this information helps.
Also to confirm the rumors, Upper Deck will be including a limited edition bonus card with the redemption. Thanks for your patience and feel free to email UD Customer Service customer_service@upperdeck.com with any concerns. Thanks for your support!

Thanks for the heads up, but i was told by a u.d. representative that they would ship out by the 1st of october, now i hear that u.d is gonna "try" and ship them this month? why is there such a long delay on a redemption on a manufactured patch w/o an auto? and you say to contact uper deck via email with anymore questions? i emailed u.d. 7 times within a months time and i never once received a return of any kind. only way to get any kind of response is to sit on the phone for 45 minutes. it is frustrating to know that you purchase boxes at an already inflated price to have to wait over a year for a fake patch card. the answer to my question still hasnt been answered. Why are there redemptions in products for "manufactured patches"?

I understand your concern and want to let you know that the 2008 Icons Letterman Patch cards for Favre were delayed due to his being traded to the NY Jets. The product was being packaged and released right as Favre was being traded, so Upper Deck wanted to add some planned redemption cards to celebrate his new team status. Unfortunately it takes several months to build cards of this nature, so we added a special limited edition card as a thanks for your patience and thanks for supporting Upper Deck bonus. The bonus card that will be sent is ONLY being produced to go with these redemptions from 2008 Icons.

Also, the redemption cards will be shipped in the next couple weeks. Thanks and I am available if you have any questions.

First of all I love the Go Patriots part!!! haha, Also Lisa if you could please answer me a question and concern I have.  If after all this waiting, and high expectation that UpperDeck will reward us for our patience with this "Bonus Card", What If I am not happy with the Bonus Card?  Will I have another option?  Can I ask for something else in replacement of the Bonus Card?
