- What must consumers do to enter to win Upper Deck's 2002 Ultimate Collection Sweepstakes?
Consumers can enter or win Upper Deck’s Ultimate Collection sweepstakes one of two ways:
- Buy a specially marked pack of 2002 Ultimate Collection trading cards and look for an Instant Win trading card;
- To play without purchase, hand print your name, complete address with zip code (No PO Box), and day/evening telephone numbers with area code on a 3x5 card and mail to: Redemption Manager, 2002 Ultimate Collection Trading Card Request, 5909 Sea Otter Place, Carlsbad, CA 92008.
- Who is eligible to win?
Every fan and/or collector over the age of 13.
- What if a sweepstakes entry from a minor under the age of 13 is randomly chosen in the drawing?
The entry will be considered ineligible based on the stated rules of the Upper Deck Sweepstakes. In the event this happens, another winner will be randomly selected.
- How many instant win cards are available?
There are 100 prizes to be awarded.
- How long does the sweepstakes last?
The Game begins on December 17, 2002 at 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time ("PST") and ends on December 16, 2003 at 11:59:59 p.m. PST. Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about December 26, 2003 from all eligible mail-in entries received.
- What personal items can the winners send in?
All sports equipment is acceptable. Examples of sports equipment include: jerseys, gloves, bats, helmets, baseball, base, shoes, pants, autograph book, and a game ticket. You may also send in a photograph of the player for signature.
- What personal items are not acceptable to send in?
Non-sport related items.
- Can the winner request personalization of the personal item sent in?
No personalization requests are acceptable.
- Can a winner send in a personal item signed by other players?
Personal items already signed by other players must send in a copy of the Certificate of Authenticity for the other signatures on the personal item.
- Does Upper Deck reserve the right to change the athlete from Mark McGwire to a different athlete?
Upper Deck reserves the right to substitute a prize with another of comparable or greater value.
