    checklist issues

Hi, I'm new to these boards. I'm trying to keep a checklist of my YSL cards. Can anyone help me find where/how to enter my YSL cards other than only entering one code a day? How did someone enter over 6,000 cards? Thanks.

    Re: checklist issues

Over the past several months, I have put together (and still working on it) a large spreadsheet with the entire YSL collection featured in it.  However, this is no ordinary spreadsheet.  Chock full of formulas and formats, it will give you a summary of the cards you have, the cards you need, and the cards you have doubles of...not to mention cards that you may have in transit (nothing like overpaying for a card only to find out you already have it!).  It is a very large spreadsheet, but one that I would be more than willing to share with you.  However, I do ask for one small favour.  I am currently in the process of entering the dates and opponents for all of the cards in the set.  I am currently at 1950 and hope to have the entire sheet populated by the end of August.  If you could send me you email address and give me a few weeks to send you the latest version, I will certainly get it out to you (the same goes for anyone else who might be interested).  A lot of time and hard work went into this database, for us collectors, it more of a labour of love (yeah, I know...corny, but I can't describe it any other way).  some features of this worksheet are:

Excel format, Collection summary chart, Summary table by player (player on the card), Historical Splits (i.e. over time, how many games have the Yanks won or lost in each month, year, and against historical opponents), Historical Pitcher's records (every Yankee pitcher that has won or lost on your cards...and what their record was by year)

The file size is about 4.5 mb so if your email server can't handle that file size, let's talk about other ways for me to get it to you.

    Cheers!

Hello, I don't know what problem you are having with the input page for the codes, but I have put in over 300 codes in a day. It has never put a limit on how many codes I put in at one time. But no matter, I keep a checklist by hand that I can take with me on trips. I just went to Upper Decks web site under sports, they have a link to checklist, well here; http://sports.upperdeck.com/collectorszone/cardsethome.aspx?q=6&sid=49192

You can print out a check list, I recomend to print it off by decades, easier to keep track of. Every card in  the set is in these lists. GL to every1 on there sets later-Steve
